VisualCron is a Windows-based application that works like the integrated task scheduler but has more flexibility and features. VisualCron is based on the Unix/Linux version of Cron. If you are a network administrator and you have to take care of a big network, then it is probably hard to perform the exact same task on each computer. When the server not installed or is turned off, jobs can be run manually. This flexibility enables users to create many different network configurations. The tasks triggers are separated into two types. 'Time' triggers let you define a certain time and date when the task should be run. 'Event' triggers allow you to run a task when a file is created/changed/deleted/renamed, a process is started/finished, a service is started/stopped/ pending, or when a registry key is changed. VisualCron can even work over the Internet, not only in a local network. With VisualCron you are able to automate boring and repetitive tasks, eliminate human errors, perform unattended work, as well as manage, react and notify on system issues and data errors.
